New in 1.3.0

  • Live coin prices and editable market estimates for new buys, sells, and swaps.
  • Enter a crypto quantity or USD amount; use 25%, 50%, and Max on sells.
  • Bundled Ethereum, Solana, and Nosana logos plus cached artwork for more coins.
  • App updates in Settings, with background downloads and a restart you choose.
  • Upgrading from 1.2.1? Export a backup, then install over the existing app without uninstalling.

Install in a couple of taps

  1. Open this page on your Android phone and tap Download for Android.
  2. Open the downloaded APK. If Android asks, allow your browser or file manager to install this app, then follow the installation prompts.
  3. Open CryptFolio from its app icon. Settings should show version 1.3.0. A fresh installation starts empty; use Explore demo portfolio to look around.

No account, Expo Go, or computer is needed. This is a direct APK download. From version 1.3 onward, compatible improvements download in the app; larger native updates still use an APK.

Already have CryptFolio? Export a backup from Settings first, then install this APK over the existing app and choose Update. Do not uninstall or clear app storage: your portfolio is stored locally.

Five things to try

Use the demo for a quick look. For the sample trades below, use a fresh installation or a separate test device so they stay out of your real portfolio.

  1. Make it yours

Try CryptFolio Night and a light theme. Switch Hide balances on and off. Increase your phone’s font size, then check that labels, amounts, and buttons still fit.

  2. Add ETH and SOL

Add an opening balance of 2.5 ETH with a $2,400 average cost. Use Save & add another to add 10 SOL at $100. Try a new buy: the current market price should load automatically and stay editable. Switch between Crypto quantity and USD amount. Try the 25%, 50%, and Max shortcuts on a new sell, then edit or delete the test trades.

  3. Record a crypto swap

From those opening balances, swap 0.5 ETH for 10 SOL, with a $1,600 USD value and $3 fee. You should have 2 ETH and 20 SOL, with $400 realized profit on ETH. Editing the swap to spend 3 ETH should be rejected without changing either holding.

  4. Close it. Come back.

Close and reopen the app. Check your records, theme, and preferences. Try airplane mode: stored records should remain, and cached or missing prices should be clearly labeled. Reconnect and refresh.

  5. Try a backup—and your everyday gestures

Export your test portfolio from Settings, then restore that file after reviewing the replacement confirmation. Try Settings → App updates, Android Back, the decimal keyboard, date selection, larger text, and TalkBack. A compatible update should never restart the app while you are entering a trade. In demo mode, make a change and exit; your real portfolio should stay untouched.

Preview status: automated checks and browser layout checks have passed. Installation, launch, upgrades with existing records, and native phone flows still need device verification. Report what you actually tried; leave the rest marked “not tested.”

Good feedback makes a difference

Send your notes to the person who invited you to test. Include the exact steps and a screenshot if you can. Hide any real balances or private notes before sharing.

A few quick answers

Will testers see anyone else’s portfolio?

No. Each installation starts with its own empty local portfolio. The demo is synthetic sample data. There is no shared account or cloud portfolio.

Does recording a swap move any crypto?

No. CryptFolio records trades you have already made. It does not connect to a wallet or exchange, place orders, or move funds.

What happens when a new version is ready?

If you have version 1.2.1 or earlier, download this APK once and install it over your existing app. Export a backup first, and do not uninstall. From 1.3 onward, Settings → App updates checks for improvements. Compatible updates download in the background and apply on your next cold launch, or when you choose Restart to update. A larger native update shows Download Android update. Android asks you to confirm installation.

Is there an iPhone version?

This preview is for Android. An iPhone release is not available.

Why is a price old or a chart unavailable?

Prices come from CoinPaprika and are not a real-time trading feed. Look at the quote timestamp. Some assets or history periods are unavailable, and the app keeps missing prices distinct from zero.
